Course Overview
Learning a new language can be daunting and confusing. This revised lesson approach by Ustadh Mumin Al-Annan is geared towards learning how to read Arabic and memorizing key nouns and verbs fast in order to facilitate using the language with native speakers.
This approach to enabling the student to form sentences and questions quickly will give the student confidence to converse in Arabic in everyday life situations. Be introduced to nouns, verbs, grammar and key images of culture in a developed method
of Modern Standard Arabic.

About the Instructor
Ustadha Shazia Ahmad completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto in Arabic and French. She then lived in Damascus, Syria for two years where she studied aqidah, fiqh, tajweed, tafsir, and Arabic. She then attended the University
of Texas at Austin, where she completed her Masters in Arabic. Afterwards, she moved to Amman, Jordan where she resided for 15 years, and studied fiqh, Arabic, and other sciences with local and travelling scholars. She recently moved back to Mississauga,
Canada, where she lives with her husband and children.
