Shazia Ahmad completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto, specializing in Arabic and French. She then lived in Damascus, Syria, for two years, where she studied `aqidah, fiqh, tajweed, tafseer, and Arabic. She then attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she completed her Masters in Arabic. Afterward, she moved to Amman, Jordan, where she resided for 15 years and studied Fiqh, Arabic, and other sciences with local and travelling scholars. In 2019, she moved back with her family to Mississauga, Canada.
