The Strong Believer is a short course for young Muslims who want Healthy Bodies, Minds, and Souls. This course is aimed at helping Muslims aged 20 years and up who want to live healthy, strong, active, and wholesome lives while not compromising their devotion to their faith.

Our aim is to encourage and guide Muslims with fitness and nutrition advice while simultaneously fulfilling their duties as Muslims. We believe that every facet of our lives is guided by Islam, founded in the Qur’an and exemplified by the Prophet (may Allah bless him and give him peace). We strive to attain the best practices of physical and nutritional well-being. We are motivated by the words of the Prophet (may Allah bless him and give him peace) who said that: “The Strong Believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is goodness in them both...” [Muslim]

We will explore practical steps of how to develop and maintain good health practices congruent to Islam. Why is it beneficial? What does it offer? What practical guidance does it offer? This course would serve to; a) encourage and guide Muslims to be healthy and strong (regardless of their current state of health), b) guide health-conscious Muslims to reframe their health journey with an Islamic ethos, and c) mine the Qur'an and Sunna for hidden treasures related to health, nutrition, and fitness.

With the growing global trend towards healthier lifestyles, I have found that there is very little guidance available for Muslims who want to live healthier lives through wholesome nutrition and training, but not compromise the dictums of their faith.
