Asalamu alaikum. Did any if the Ulema actually say how many Hadith there are all together when we count them all? Also do we know how many Hadith collections have been compiled throughout history?

I am not exactly sure of the number of Ahadith related but I do believe is in around 100,000 - 150,000 without including repetitions. There are many collections of Hadith. Likewise, there are many different types of collections of Hadith. You have the Jam'i collections - focused mainly on gathering the Hadith arranged in the chapters of Fiqh; you have Musnad collections; Sunan, etc... Some are arranged according to chapter headings, some according to the narrators, etc...
