As Salaamu Alaykum Shaykh, I read that Al-Kamal said, “Knowledge is a real attribute established with the Divine Entity. It is linked to all things as they truly are with encompassment and without there being anything previously hidden”
I wanted to ask about the word encompassment I.e. what is the consequence of saying, “Allah encompasses His Entity, Attributes & Names”
In the Sharh of The Tahawiyyah, it is written, “comprehension (idrāk), which is to encompass something from all of its sides, is only conceivable in the case of what is delimited and finite”
