Assalamualaikum
As I am taking this course, someone brought to my attention that this text aligns with the Ashari school of aqeedah, is this correct?
Please forgive my ignorance in asking, when we study Aqeedah, is it similar to studying fiqh in the sense that we study the Hanafi Madhab in its own course so we can fully understand the usul/fiqh of the particular school, and then as we go deeper understand the differences in school? Does this apply to Ashari & Maturidi texts/learning? Or is it less dissimilar and we study texts from both schools of Aqeedah.
