As-Salāmu Alaykum
I like the Qurānic Arguments, but there has been a doubt nagging at my mind; is it permissible to expound on these arguments (like Shaykh Faraz did for Lesson 3)? It seems like expounding them is applying one's opinion of the meaning of the verse and I thought there was a Hadīth forbidding that, and I thought the salaf really disliked it. Please forgive my insolence. I am not trying to malign noble scholars, I am just trying to gain understanding.
