Raising righteous Muslim children is a noble and tremendous undertaking. In this course, Shaykh Faraz Rabbani and Ustadha Shireen Ahmed offer valuable advice and parenting tips to parents and carers.

This course is based on the Prophetic example and two unique texts: Manzumat Riyadat al-Sibyan (A Treatise on Raising Children), a classical poem on parenting written 500 years ago by one of the leading authorities of the Shafi`i School, Imam Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Ramli, and its commentary Simt al-Uqyan (A Thread of Pure Gold) authored by the Yemeni scholar Shaykh Abdullah ibn Ahmad Ba Sawdan.

The course covers how to inculcate Islamic manners in children; how to provide them Islamic education; how to raise a child who loves Allah and the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him); how to protect children from negative influences; and how to discipline children when necessary. Taking this course will equip parents and carers with the tools necessary for raising righteous children in today's age.
